Migrate WordPress To Micro CMS

Move normal WordPress content to Micro CMS through the staged Migration Bridge and WordPress Importer workflow.

WordPress Importer moves supported WordPress content into Micro CMS. Import work continues in the background, so keep the source available until the migration reports completion.

Before You Start

Keep the WordPress source available and avoid changing the content you are actively migrating while a stage is running. Check that the destination has enough storage for the content and Media you intend to import.

Review The Source

Connect the supported WordPress source and choose Review Source. Micro CMS analyses the source and opens the review workspace without changing destination content.

Review & Select

Use the Scope, Change, Readiness and Result summaries to understand the plan. Review Issues and review flags that need attention, and choose the imported-content owner before starting the import.

Import Selected

Choose Import Selected when the plan is ready. Micro CMS applies the selected destination owner and creates and verifies its required Recovery Point automatically before destination changes begin. If that protection cannot be created, the import does not start.

Media Retries

If a retry finds that a WordPress attachment is already managed, Micro CMS reuses the existing Media item. Public-name collisions are given a unique managed URL automatically. If the imported Media tree has one clear managed root and you rename or move it, later stages continue using that folder.

Follow Progress

Use System → Background Jobs and the WordPress Importer workspace to see current progress, completed stages and anything that needs attention. You can close the page after the import starts; the import continues in the background.

Review The Result

Check representative Pages, Posts, Media, links, categories and any imported redirects before changing the public destination.
