Pages
Create, preview, publish and maintain long-lived site Pages.
Pages are for lasting content such as About, Contact, policies, landing pages and guides. They use the same draft, preview and publishing controls as other authored content.
Create And Publish A Page
- Open Content → Pages and choose New Page.
- Add a clear title and write the Page body.
- Check the Page address, visibility and presentation choices.
- Preview the draft in the active Site presentation.
- Choose Save Draft to continue later or Publish when it is ready.
Edit Existing Content
Select an existing element and choose Options to change the settings available for that element, such as layout, alignment, Media, links or table/list choices. Use the insertion toolbar when you want to add something new.
For visual composition, choose Open Page Builder. Page Builder exposes the same supported content options in its Settings panel. See Page Builder.
Gallery Choices
Tiles creates an automatic mosaic, Grid lets you choose columns, Natural follows the images’ natural flow, and Button shows a lead image with a View Gallery action. Where lightbox viewing is enabled, readers can open the selected image and move through the gallery.
Tiles keeps captions over the image when they fit. Longer captions move below the image so the complete text remains readable.
Quick Edit
Keep current status preserves the Page’s current publication state. A live Page stays live for an authorised publisher; a draft stays a draft. Users without publish access can save a newer review draft without replacing the current live revision.
Page URLs And Home
A Page can use an address derived from its title or a custom route. The Landing Page setting in Site Settings chooses which published Page is used for the Site homepage. Check both settings when the homepage is not what you expected.
Presentation Overrides
Supported Template, Header, Footer, Sidebar and Comments choices can inherit the Site or Design default. Choose None when you explicitly do not want that element on the Page; None is different from Inherit.
Keep A Draft While The Current Page Stays Live
Save changes as a draft, preview them and publish only when ready. The current published revision continues to serve visitors until a newer revision is published.
Structured Content Details
Some Sites or Resource Packs add labelled field groups to a Page or Post, such as product specifications, event details or case-study facts. Complete those fields when they apply to the content.
Trash
Open Trash to restore removed items or use Empty Trash to permanently remove everything currently in that Trash. Permanent removal cannot be undone, and Micro CMS blocks deletion when an existing dependency makes it unsafe.
Check Narrow Layouts
Fact Grids and Galleries adapt to the available width. Preview important Pages at narrow widths as well as on desktop, especially when the Page includes a Sidebar.
Publishing And Trash Controls
The side panel’s Publish Controls groups scheduling, Move to Trash and Unpublish Now where your access allows them. Trashing moves the item to Trash; unpublishing removes its live revision while keeping the item available for editing.
