Globals

Share site-wide CSS, JavaScript and simple values across Resources.

Globals hold small, shared Site values or presentation fragments used in several Resources. Use them when a single change should carry through to multiple locations.

Example: Shared Announcement

  1. Open Design → Globals and create a Global for a repeated site-wide value or fragment.
  2. Use that Global from the compatible Headers, Footers, Templates or Components that need it.
  3. Preview the affected Pages and publish the change only when the reused content is correct.

Keep Shared Information Appropriate

A Global is suitable for a public message, reusable label or site-specific styling, not for account credentials or private keys. Use a Component instead when the need is a complete reusable designed section.

Changing A Global

Before updating a Global, review where it is used. Small changes to a shared resource can appear in several parts of the Site at once.
